If they're light (in the 2- to 7-pound range), I'd do these:

These are 10-ers. So NOW what would you do? ;) |
I'd try it with 10 pounders and then maybe you'll give me another gold medal. Hmmm. Seriously. OK. I actually have done this with 10#. I hold one in each hand, rest one weight on each shoulder, and then do 10 to 20 squats, making sure to keep my back straight and keep good form. Your turn.... |

Wrist Curls... but with only 10lbs... LOTS of them. I find that especially for breaststroke, hand and forearm strength is incredibly important, and a tough muscle to work with just swimming alone. You have to make sure you roll the weights all the way down to the fingers... it's full range of motion. |

Biceps Curls
50rep each arm :) |
Vertical dolphin kick, one in each hand. Now you're bringing me back to the old days, when I used to hold diving bricks. |
They will weigh much less when displacing H2O and they're covered by rubber to protect pool surfaces. Maybe an exercise done IN the water? |
I love the weights. I use them on a regular basis. In and out of the pool. I like the breast stroke wrist curls though never thought of that one. Thanks |

Underwater weghtlifting.....you know...like underwater-hockey....hihi |
How about "V" ups with one in each hand? |
oldmarlin, that's hardcore! |
love those hardcore workout |
Oldmarlin....you'll sink trying V ups (in the water) with a ten pounder!!! You can hardly do them without weights!!! |
I'd really like to see a workout of the week with dumbbels :) |
